Trout Tales™ is our small-batch, freeze-dried fish bait made from the very same trout we work so hard to keep alive every day on our hatchery. That’s right- we’re turning our premium, farm-raised trout into clean, shelf-stable bait for anglers who want something better.

It all started when David, who grew up running commercial trotlines for catfish in Sandusky Bay, looked at me one day and said, “We should use trout for bait.” I thought he was out of his mind. We spend every day keeping these fish alive and thriving. But he cut up perfectly good trout... and it worked. Trout Tales was born.
